Inspired by the original underground Real Book(s) of the 1970s, Spenard Jazz Fest, alongside countless musicians from around Alaska have come together to release the FIRST-EVER Alaska Jazz Real Book.
Unbeknownst to many, Alaska is home to an incredible host of talented national, if not world-class composers & musicians.
You can now learn to play their work!

Spenard JazzFest is a multidisciplinary arts festival that celebrates music across all genres, with one emphasis on jazz, and another on Alaska.
In its 15th year, Spenard Jazz Fest 2022 will feature emerging local music stars, incredible Outside artists, and many established Anchorage/Alaska greats.
