MEET THE ARTISTS
Ava Earl is a prolific young singer-songwriter from the small mountain town of Girdwood, Alaska. Known for her intricate fingerpicking and graceful melodies, Ava’s music reflects the landscape she’s grown up in — open, raw, beautiful. At just 18 years old, she has written and co-produced multiple full-length albums. Her new album, The Roses, is due out later this summer.
The Forest That Never Sleeps is Kat Moore’s (The Super Saturated Sugar Strings, Two KatFish, Emma Hill and Her Callers, Slow Like Honey, and countless other ensembles) solo project. Enjoy the ride as she takes you down an emotional wormhole through evocative ballads and exquisite piano work.
Spenard JazzFest is a multidisciplinary arts festival that celebrates music across all genres, with one emphasis on jazz, and another on Alaska.
In its 14th year, Spenard Jazz Fest 2021 will feature emerging local music stars and many established Anchorage greats.
